Jason Mott
Jason enters 2026, his 10th season as General Manager and 12th season with the club overall. Jason loves being involved in the Peoria community both personally and professionally, and is currently on the Peoria Chamber Board, Sporting FC of Central Illinois Board as President, and is a member of the Peoria North Rotary.
Jason is a lifelong St. Louis Cardinals fan and holds a degree in Sports Management from Southeast Missouri State University. Jason lives in Washington with his beautiful wife, Kristen, and their sons, Carter and Kellen. When not working, he enjoys family time, working out/running, watching his sons compete in sports, hanging out with friends, collecting sports memorabilia, and attending sporting events.
Jason’s most memorable sports moments were winning the OVC Tournament in 2000, going to the Big Dance with the Southeast Missouri State basketball team, and attending the final two clinching games of the Cardinals’ 2006 and 2011 World Series Championships. He is still seeking his first championship in his professional career and hopes to add it to his most memorable sports moments in 2026.
Favorite Baseball Memory: Turning an unassisted triple play during a game when I was 8.
Happy
Happy is a proud graduate of Western Illinois University’s broadcasting department and a lover of any sport imaginable, though the Cleveland Browns and Chicago White Sox are his favorite teams. Jim Mattson gave him the nickname Happy after a particularly awful White Sox defeat, yet Happy was still able to find positives in the loss.
In his free time Happy loves spending time watching movies and doing puzzles with his wife, Emily, and their cat, Callie.
